The patrol team at Lagos-Ibadan expressway can be truly named “angels on the roads” as they provide help to drivers in difficult situations. Victoria Ibezim-Ohaeri, the executive director of Spaces for Change, a youth development and advocacy group working to deepen youth and citizen engagement in public policy development, took to her Facebook page to express her gratitude over immediate help from the police officers.
According to her post, Ibezim-Ohaeri’s car started jerking during her trip on the highway and she had to stop to fix the car. But she has unexpectedly received help from the patrol team led by Inspector Paul. Christmas spirit is in the air. People say if you do good, the good comes back to you.

There is a telephone number displayed at the back of the police truck. “My car suddenly started jerking on the highway and I had to stop to check. The police officers probably saw me looking confused with a lot of kids in the car, and they pulled back. Together with his team, they opened the bonnet and saw my battery detached again from the terminal head. They brought out a tool box from their own vehicle and fixed the problem. When they were sure I was Ok, they then escorted me a bit before they waved goodbye.
