Two Gay Men Set to Undergo Spiritual Cleansing In Delta-State

Two relatives, Mr. Monday Ehikwe and Godwin Chukwueku Okwuoseh, were reportedly caught panted-down by the vigilante group in one of the buildings in the area. They were detained and
handed over to the Okpala,  the spiritual head of Agbor-Alidinma and his council of chiefs.
The two homosexual men, allegedly an uncle and his nephew, were caught having sex at Agbor Alidinma in Ika South Local Government area of Delta state, yesterday.

The duo were later sent to the Chief Priest of a local shrine, Dr Micheal Nmose, (Native Doctor  popularly known as Babalawo or Boka  by Hausas and Yorubas) for the so-called spiritual cleansing and administration of first step traditional oath on them.
The two offenders were ordered to pay a fine of N25,000 each and return to the shrine with one native  cow, 36 native chalks, 50 cola nuts, two red cloths and 20 tuber of yams for the ritual completion in January next year.
